Position Summary: The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking an academic Nephropathologist for a tenure-track/tenured, fixed-term, or variable-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We are seeking new leadership and service providers for our well-known Nephropathology program, which includes an established outreach kidney biopsy service.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: The applicant must have an MD or comparable degree, be board-certified or board eligible in Anatomic Pathology, have fellowship training and/or service experience in nephropathology, and be eligible to obtain a medical license in North Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience: Applicants interested in minor clinical service work in one of our other surgical pathology sub-specialties will also be considered.
