Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a CT Technologist. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates skill in using the hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to radiology, including choosing appropriate patient information from HIS/RIS system in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates reliability by maintaining a good attendance/punctuality record and adheres to departmental guidelines regarding time off.
- Demonstrates skill in equipment set-up, utilization, and proper maintenance procedures.
- Independently implements patient procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
- Effectively assesses patient information and status, and plans appropriate procedures accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
Certificate from accredited School of Radiologic Technology. New York State license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology. Two (2) years experience in CT. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred Qualifications:
Advance Certification in Computerized Tomography. Five (5) years experience in CT. College graduate.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $99,689.80 - $111,429.80 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
