UW Medical Center-Montlake- 6SE Orthopaedics has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist Supervisor. This position will report under the general direction of the Nurse Manager and Program Manager.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Part-time Days; 80% FTE

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordination and monitoring of staff, scheduling systems, payroll and timekeeping systems, educational tracking systems and other systems that support the Nurse Manager
- Customer service to patients, staff and medical team members
- Interviewing and recommending the selection of candidates
- Ordering of unit supplies, equipment and facilities management
- Take a proactive role in efficient operations of the unit
- Responsible for the overall leadership and supervision of the Patient Services Specialist and other assigned staff
- Managing, collecting and reporting of unit data
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a medically related or public relations field
- AND
- One year experience in a healthcare setting which includes lead responsibility
- OR
- An equivalent combination of education/experience
