WAGE RANGE: $76,000 - $89,000/annually
JOB SUMMARY: Catholic Charities seeks a passionate and dynamic people leader, who is compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally aware to join us as a Clinical Behavioral Health Manager.
The Clinical Behavioral Health Manager is a member of the Housing team supporting three of the Housing Divisions’ largest permanent support housing programs. This position will also be available for crisis intervention and short-term intervention support on a case-by-case basis.
The Clinical Behavioral Health Manager participates in overall decision-making, policy formulation and strategic planning pertaining to Catholic Charities Housing Division’s behavioral health model. The position is responsible for ensuring clinical best practices and program cohesion throughout the Housing Division.
The Clinical Behavioral Health Manager ensures that programs achieve positive outcomes for clients while adhering to applicable clinical regulatory standards.
The manager is responsible for all administrative functions of their department (i.e. human resources tasks, billing, marketing).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide clinical supervision and/or support for Behavioral Health Professionals, Mental Health case managers, Social Workers, Social Worker Interns, and other housing staff, establishing best clinical supervisory practices for development of employees and interns.
- Facilitate weekly site-based case consultation and provide follow up support to site-based staff as needed. Provide support to residents during crisis to support stabilization.
- Support the establishment and growth of partnerships with external community behavioral health stakeholders to increase housing teams’ ability to provide appropriate referrals to housing clients.
- Complete referrals, assessments and care planning of program clients for best care outcomes.
- Liaison with consulting health care and/or regulatory entities to ensure consistency and quality in programming.
- Provide capacity building and training support for housing staff on clinical topic areas and skills; motivational interviewing, strategies for hoarding/collecting, harm reduction theory and conversation facilitation. Monitor and further develop program evaluation tools around clinical outcomes for programs.
- Work with Billing Manager regarding overall billing issues and third-party billing.
- Monitor professional staff and program compliance with record keeping and paperwork to ensure compliance with DHS regulations and standards.
- Coordinate supervision and training of clinical interns and volunteers.
- Collaborate with community partners to ensure positive relationships with other stakeholders and that agency is participating in dialogues beneficial to agency success and mission integration including participation in marketing activities.
- Provide direct service to clients through individual, group or family services as needed.
- Work closely with Director of Behavioral Health Services to develop & implement quality standards and utilization of Integrated Services within the Housing division.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree and eligibility for licensure as a health professional in the State of Minnesota
- Licensure as a health professional (mental health professional, Nurse Practitioner) in the State of Minnesota (LICSW, LP, LMFT, LPCC, LP, APRN, NP)
- Clinical certification to clinically supervise Mental Health Practitioners, Mental Health Professionals and Alcohol and Drug Counselors preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience in clinical settings preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in similar programs.
- Has the ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness.
