Responsibilities:
- Act as Second Line of Defense of the corporate banking, investment banking and broker–dealer activities across Societe Generale’s operations, reporting on the compliance risks and issues to local, regional, and head office management.
- Provide the business lines with guidance on relevant laws, rules, and regulations applicable to their activities and the development of related policies, procedures, training, and controls.
- Oversee compliance with external and internal rules that govern our banking and financial activities.
- Work within Know Your Customer, anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism financing, sanctions & embargoes, client protection, market integrity, anti-bribery & corruption, and data protection.
- Provide trade and communications surveillance, and manage transversal support functions that help the department achieve its goals.

- A minimum of a 2-year career gap
- Knowledge of Compliance rules and regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Good discipline
- Minimum years of industry experience: 4 years
- Years of Experience (number only) (maximum): 10 years
- Language(s): English
Nice to Have:
- Last Corporate Title of Vice President, Executive Director, Director, or Managing Director
- Preferred Education Background: Bachelor's Degree - preferably in Finance, Business, Public Administration, Political Science, and/or International Relations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
