Position Summary
As an HR Shared Services Project Lead, you will report to the Senior Manager of HR Shared Services, Employment Authorization and Onboarding. In this role, you will oversee pre-employment and incumbent background investigation programs, including criminal background screening, drug testing, onboarding, and I-9 programs. You will manage relationships with third-party providers to ensure proper screening procedures, manage escalations, proactively identify areas of opportunity, implement program improvements, and manage internal reporting and compliance audits.
You will accomplish this by:
- Managing third background screening and I-9 vendors by providing escalation support and guidance with the processing of background investigations and drug tests while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Designing training documentation in support of process or system changes and delivering to all stakeholders.
- Planning and conducting thorough data analysis including interpretation of trends, gaps, data gathering, validation, and presentation of findings.
- Providing consultation to stakeholders to reinforce compliant practices.
- Building partnerships with other HR Shared Services teams, applicable vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver the required services, controls, and delivery experience.
- Managing applicable processes to ensure full functional compliance and audit activities.
- Identifying areas of opportunity through organizational assessments, suggesting and implementing appropriate changes in programs or processes.
- Creating and generating standard ad-hoc reports for HR-related data and management analysis.
- Partnering with Management and Legal/Compliance teams to ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and company mandates/policies.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in the field of Human Resources.
- 1-2+ years of experience in project management.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret, research, and communicate complex issues.
- Commitment to and demonstrated skill in providing excellent customer service.
- Proficient MS Office skills with advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with shifting priorities.
- Flexibility and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Astute understanding of data analytics to maintain and evolve our data integrity/audit/compliance reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high volume background and/or drug screening vendor, as well as Workday.
- Experience with high volume I-9 vendor.
- Experience with Workday reporting.
- Capabilities and experience in Change Management.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent work experience may substitute.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
