Description of Position
We are looking for a clinician to provide therapeutic interventions to youth, young adults, and their families in home and community settings. You can be a part of our innovative program, in partnership with the Department of Mental Health, which is the first of its kind designed to support young people with serious mental health challenges while remaining in the home. As a PACT-Y team member, you'll use a person-centered approach to enhance family functioning, promote stabilization, and encourage growth and resilience as youth make the transition into adulthood. We're committed to culturally competent care, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support youth in their recovery goals
- Work in partnership with the youth, family and team members to provide strength-based comprehensive assessments, treatment plans and collaborative safety plans
- Provide evidenced-based clinical interventions, family therapy, crisis intervention and parent education to help stabilize youth and family in the home and community
- Complete progress notes and required program documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation for crisis intervention
- Complete substance abuse assessments and interventions as necessary
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy or a related field
- License preferred (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT), or license eligible
- 2 years of experience working with serious mental health challenges in youth, young adults and families (internship experience accepted)
- Excellent written and verbal skills
