Description:
The Associate Veterinarian works with the Practice Owner to define, implement, and practice medical policies and procedures that ensure quality patient care. They deliver medical, surgical, and dental care to patients. The Associate Veterinarian plays a key role in building and maintaining client relationships as well as relationships with the team. They may assist in supervising team members in their daily medical duties. This is a leadership position with the important responsibility of ensuring a positive work environment in which the practice can achieve its goals.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent from an accredited university
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas
- Current DEA License
- Cat-Friendly Veterinarian Certification
- Fear Free Certification preferred
- ABVP certification in feline practice or interest in becoming ABVP certified in feline practice preferred
