Shift: 32hrs per week; 3pm-11:30pm; Telemetry 3B; full-time benefit eligible
Position Summary: The Registered Nurse provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly and is also individualized to a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse. The Registered Nurse incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our mission vision and values into nursing practice at Good Samaritan Medical Center. The Registered Nurse must have excellent assessment skills, clinical skills, organizational skills, computer knowledge, and charge capabilities. The Registered Nurse must be able to lift, transfer, and move patients. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language. Able to complete mathematical computations required to perform treatment protocols.
Education: BSN preferred
Experience: Requires previous RN experience, previous cardiac telemetry/acute care experience required.
Certification/Licensure: MA RN license, BLS required, ACLS required.
Software/Hardware: MediTech
