Santa Anna, TX Ultrasound Technologist MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent Ultrasound Technologist to join a dynamic team at a well-established acute-care hospital near Brownwood, Texas!
Pay: $62,599 to $88,759 per year
Key Responsibilities for Ultrasound Technologist:
- Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients for ultrasound exams, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
- Equipment Operation: Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently to capture clear, diagnostic-quality images of internal body structures.
- Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, Thursday through Saturday.
- Image Analysis: Review and interpret ultrasound images to assist in diagnosing medical conditions and developing treatment plans.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient history, performed procedures, and diagnostic findings.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare teams to discuss imaging results and support patient care.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment; promptly report any technical issues.
- Patient Education: Explain procedures to patients, address any questions or concerns, and provide post-procedure care instructions.
Ultrasound Technologist Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound.
- Certification from ARRT or ARDMS.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) provider certification.
- Texas Medical Board-MRT certification or ARDMS certification.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
