Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to provide supervision for our clients and ensure their safety while building rapport. Responsibilities include assisting clients in group settings, documenting progress, and identifying the need for professional services.
Essential Duties:
- Be aware of the whereabouts and activities of all assigned residents at all times.
- Ensure client safety using verbal de-escalation methods and CPI techniques when necessary.
- Facilitate daily residential schedules and support residents with various activities.
- Complete daily shift notes for individual clients.
- Communicate with treatment teams about individual client concerns.
- Supervise self-administration of medications and maintain compliance with state regulations.
- Provide transportation for residents during community outings.
- Remain current on all required trainings and certifications.
- Provide support to assigned house, which may change based on operational needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred.
- Prior work experience in behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage required.
- Must become CPI and CPR certified within the first 30 days.
Salary Range: $17.00 - $22.12 per hour based on education and experience.
