Ready to work in a supportive environment where your colleagues are like family and work-life balance is always encouraged? Academy Children's Clinic is now looking to add another Spanish-speaking pediatrician to our family. Our company, a Patient Centered Medical Home, is dedicated to providing excellent pediatric medical care, developmental care and mental health care in an environment conducive to growing, learning, and excelling. Our providers are committed to actively promoting healthy living, educating families, and practicing with compassion and caring. We have developed a new model in pediatrics, one where we address most aspects of a child's needs on our own campus. We have in-house licensed mental health counselors, speech therapists, psychologists, lactation consultants, providers trained in diagnosing Autism, and of course our Primary Care providers including Pediatricians and Nurse Practitioners who strive daily to use our resources to better care for the lives of our little ones.
Our Organization is housed in two modern buildings on the same 4-acre property in Southeast Nashville. Our main clinic consists of 41 exam rooms and was designed specifically with the goal of encouraging communication and cooperation amongst our staff to allow them to function as a cohesive team. Our therapy program next door has grown to a Speech therapist, a Psychologist and our goals of adding Occupational therapy, after hours tutoring, and ABA therapy are in the works.
As an organization, we believe in the responsibility of supporting the lives of our employees just as much as we do our patients. We encourage our staff to be active in the community and understand the importance of work-life balance. To aid in these goals, we offer 2 months paid maternity-leave, 1 month paid-paternity leave, hospitalists that care for our newborns and admitted patients, 1 week paid medical missionary work, and multiple social activities. Our goal is to have happy, motivated and dedicated staff that can in turn provide excellent healthcare to our patients.
If this model of medicine and model of work-life balance sounds like something you would enjoy, then we welcome the chance to invite you to our campus.
