Under the direction of the Director of Cardiopulmonary, performs all Nuclear Medicine procedures and tasks with limited supervision. Provides assistance in the Cardiopulmonary Department as necessary.
Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
- Graduation from an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent qualifications.
- Registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology or must be registry eligible applicants but become registered within one year from date of hire.
- Must possess a moderate level of analytical ability.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people.
- Must work with established procedures and methods, but is expected to prioritize assignments, deviate from schedules or alter the sequence of steps as necessary to obtain desired results.
- Must provide for the physical and emotional well-being of others limiting harm, discomfort, embarrassment and inconvenience.
- Must consider responsibility for fiscal, public and employee relations allowing only brief delays in service and some unnecessary expenditures.
- May be required to occasionally plan the work of, assign work to, and instruct other employees.
- Must occasionally perform moderate work involving distasteful patient care activities and involving exposure to disagreeable odors.
- Must have the ability to work independently and organize several projects.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day.
