TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting 3 Staff Nurses on behalf of an Intellectual Disabilities Service who is about to open a brand new Children’s Respite Service. This is a great opportunity to be part of a new development.
This service will start out as a day service and eventually progress to a 24/7 service.
Role 1 is 37.5 hours per week
Role 2 and 3 are 34 hours per week. Contracts are permanent.
Rosters are rolling. Day Service hours are as follows: Daily after school 3pm to 8pm, weekends and holidays are 10am to 7pm.
Requirements:
- NMBI Registered and preferably possess the RNID qualification.
- Up to date knowledge of best practice in the field of health and social care and an ability to implement this, in accordance with the Nurse’s Act 2011.
- Preferably have experience working with children with an Intellectual Disability and must demonstrate an excellent understanding of the health, social and emotional needs of these children.
- Knowledge and understanding of HIQA Standards & any other relevant legislative requirements.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of role is essential.
