Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. has a full-time opening for a Foster Care Case Manager for our Malden area office to provide intensive case management to youths. Duties will include communication and relationship building with clients and all collateral partners connected with each client (schools, funding partners, therapists, agencies, foster homes, etc), setting limits for youth, development of interventions, and setting goals toward individual successes in conjunction with client’s guardians, therapist and other providers. Foster Care Case Managers participate in monthly team meetings and are required to document encounters daily in conjunction with quarterly paperwork and care meetings. Foster Care Case Managers are expected to provide after-hours on-call support on a regular, rotating basis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in the human service or behavioral science field
- LSW, LSW-A, or license-eligible
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care
- Valid driver's license and ability to clear DMV, DCF, and CORI background checks
- Verification of adequate personal auto insurance on vehicle(s) to be used (minimum limits of $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident for Optional Body Injury to others, and minimum limits of at least $100,000 for Damage to Someone Else's Property) *Insurance Policy must be brought to interview.
