Call of 1:3
Surgeon will be employed by the hospital.
2-year contract includes base salary (salary field does not reflect actual base) along with production and quality incentives (add'l comp field does not reflect actual range of incentive income).
Relocation allowance; health, dental, vision, and life insurances are offered.
Malpractice occurrence-based coverage is provided.
401k plus an Executive Comp Plan adding 10 percent to annual salary.
6 weeks of vacation; 1 week of CME; 6 legal holidays.
Licenses are paid for by the employer.
CME allowance is given annually.
Inpatient and outpatient surgery suites are in the same building.
Clinic connected to the hospital.
Qualifications
Does this describe you?
- Are you board eligible or already board certified?
- Are you currently ATLS certified?
- Do you have ties to the Upper Midwest?
- Is 1:3 call acceptable to you?
- Are you able to start in a new practice in early 2015?
The Ideal Candidate
3 to 5 years of experience since getting out of residency/fellowship.
Bread and butter surgery with a touch of trauma and breast surgeries.
Procedures: adult and some pediatric.
- laparoscopic surgeries
- appendectomy
- cholecystectomy
- breast procedures
- chest tube insertion
- head/neck (including thyroid) preferred
Willing to take call of 1:3.
