Occupational Health Nurse
Minimum Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in nursing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Competent with Venipuncture or finger sticks.
- Ability to conduct and provide health profiles/screenings, health evaluations, health promotion education and drug screenings following written/demonstrated protocols; ability to effectively document interaction and outcomes of employees seen; ability to communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster an effective occupational health, wellness and safety program.
- Computer Skills needed (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Email). Previous experience within a manufacturing facility is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum education required for competent performance: Associates Nursing or Medical Assistant (MA).
Minimum experience required for competent performance: 5 years.
Volume or unit measure of job duties: Work varies, will be seeing employees that are having their yearly lab work completed. Mainly sedentary work with some data entry.
Equipment usage and abilities needed: Glucometer, Cardiocheck.
Conditions & Physical Demands of Job: Mainly sedentary.
