General acute care organization/hospital is seeking a strong Director of Patient Access/Patient Registration. Candidates should have at least 6+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities include:
- Strong client relationship and communication skills.
- Ability to successfully integrate both client and Conifer values.
- Experience leading a team and department, including hiring and firing.
- Identify data required to support performance improvements and analyze for trending and building of improvement measures.
- Project management.
- Identify performance gaps and effectively lead change to address.
- Mentor and manage staff to achieve superior performance.
- Proactively manage budget to ensure profitability.
- Stay current and proactive in new regulations to ensure compliance.
- Extensive knowledge of the full revenue cycle.
- Delegate work to drive efficiency.
- Analyze all levels of projects/initiatives for impact.
