Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to fill an opening with an Adult Day Care Center located in Mountain View, California.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Must have graduated from an accredited school.
- Must have a current California state license as a Registered Occupational Therapist|OT.
- Must have valid California Driver’s license, clean driving record, appropriate insurance, and reliable vehicle.
- Must be able to cater to tasks with physical demands (lift, transfer, push|pull, maneuver, reposition, etc.).
Benefits of the Occupational Therapist:
The salary for this position is $60/hr.
Schedule of the Occupational Therapist:
- This is a Part-time position.
- On-site during our hours of operation.
- Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM (with some flexibility).
- Hours range between 12-16 hours/week - vary based on participant caseload.
Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
- Assessment and Person-Centered Care Planning for incoming and active participants.
- Member of the Multidisciplinary Team and assist with carrying out the Team’s plan of care.
- Provide Activities of Daily Living care to participants, as needed, and training of staff (grooming, dressing, hygiene, body mechanics).
- Conduct in-home evaluations, as appropriate, for home safety considerations and recommendations.
- Demonstrates safe practices by utilizing proper body mechanics, adhering to universal precautions, and maintaining environmental safety.
- Contribute to the welcoming environment, assisting participants as needed.
- Supervise participants throughout the Center to ensure their safety, proper care, and comfort.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and in-services.
- Ability to safely move upwards of 35 pounds.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
