Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs/week, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- CA License
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- AWHONN-Advanced
- NRP
Other Information:
- Cerner required
- Number of beds: 12 L&D and 6 triage beds (overflow area for laboring patients; delivery occurs in actual L&D bed)
- First to float
- Scrub color: Provided by hospital
- Types of patients: High risk patients, some multiple births (up to triplets), run insulin gtts, run mag drips; for C-sections will circulate and recover; no elective abortions; will recover babies (skin to skin) after delivery; have techs that assist as well; nurses must be strong in L&D as their postpartum nurses are separate; must have C-section experience; level 3 almost level 4 NICU attends high risk deliveries; must be accustomed to a fast, busy unit; deliver over 300 per month
