Our Outpatient services specialize in treatment mental health and substance use disorders with treatment and skills groups, as well as community resources.
Outpatient programs provide trauma-informed care aimed at reducing the harmful impacts of substance use. Participants and their counselors work collaboratively to design an integrated, individualized, strengths-based treatment experience geared towards addressing each client’s specific needs and goals. Outpatient programs provide Individual and group therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, crisis intervention, and connection to social support services.

Prototypes Pasadena is a program of HealthRIGHT 360 that is designed to provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment services for community members aged birth to older adult. Adult FSP is a field-based program of HealthRIGHT 360 that is designed to provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment services for individuals with serious and complex behavioral health issues aged 18 and older. Program participants face problems around housing, substance use, primary care, and persistent symptoms of chronic mental health problems.
This Supervisor position is responsible for the management of program services and operations for the Department of Mental Health (DMH) contracted Full Service Partnership (FSP) program. Provides balance between fiscal responsibilities with providing the highest quality of care. Motivates and inspires a high performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
People Management (30%):
- Ensures all direct reports are in compliance with Prototypes' policies, procedures and position expectations and performance goals.
- Gives ongoing feedback and conducts formal performance evaluations in a timely manner.
- Assists direct reports in defining career goals and creates opportunities for development.
- Delivers or arranges training and resources required for direct reports to perform their roles.
- Interviews, selects, hires, and assists terminations for positions within program.
Program Management (30%):
- Manages day to day program operations and provides clinical oversight.
- Understands the agency's strategic vision and finds ways to implement and execute the vision at the treatment services level.
- Implements improvements to the integration of behavioral health with other healthcare services to improve the quality and continuum of client care.
- Manages quality of care and service concerns, and communicates to site Director through regularly reporting.
- Develops and maintains good relations with contractors and other collaborators to ensure program continuation and success.
Treatment Oversight (20%):
- Oversees Adult Services staff providing treatment in accordance with HR360's mission, and in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Ensures that quality, research based, cutting-edge services are always provided to clients.
- Ensures program staff's compliance with all agency and regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Ensures that program/project stays within agreed budgetary limitations.
Quality Improvement and Training (10%):
- Ensures that the program is following HIPAA and 42CFR regulations, Prototypes' policies and procedures, and all other licensing and funding mandates.
- Ensures team operates within scope of proactive and provides for additional training opportunities as needed.
Position Requirements:
- BBS license (PsyD, CSW, LMFT, LPCC) strongly preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certified within 30 days of employment.
- Experience delivering and overseeing DMH services, and specifically experience with FSP programs, strongly preferred.
- Valid CA driver's license with dependable automobile, insurance, and registration.
- Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated, dependable, creative, and proactive approach to work; understands the importance of working independently and within a team environment.
- Strong clinical skills with a strengths-based focus specifically related to the programs assigned. -Knowledge of HIPAA and 42CFR regulations.
- Knowledge of and experience with providing culturally competent and trauma-informed services.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
