Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Coos Bay, OR
Shift Type: Varied
Hours: 8 hours per day, 80 hours per two-week pay period
Hourly Pay Rate: $37.00 - $57.00/hour (based on experience)
Job Overview:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of CT scans for patients of all ages, ranging from neonates to geriatric patients. Utilizing principles and techniques of computed tomography (CT) scanning, the CT Tech provides reliable scan results while ensuring patient safety and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans for patients across all age groups.
- Apply principles, theories, and techniques of computed tomography scanning.
- Operate applicable equipment and software for CT scanning.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental teams and interact professionally with the public.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation.
- Assist with on-call duties and weekend rotation, as required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient with personal computers and relevant software programs.
- Demonstrates ability to operate office and CT equipment effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Maintains confidentiality and works independently with minimal supervision.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required.

Education/Certifications/Licenses:
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program in Radiology (Required).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in CT or must obtain within 6 months.
- ARRT and Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) licenses (Required).
- American Heart Association BLS Certification (Required).
- Image Wisely and Image Gently pledge certificates required within 30 days of hire, renewed annually.
Experience:
- One (1) year of CT experience preferred.
Certification Requirements:
- ARRT (Required).
- BLS (Required).
- OBMI License (Required).
