Capitaland Animal Hospital in beautiful Upstate New York is looking for a New York State licensed veterinarian who embodies the values of fear-free handling, is committed to client education, is eager to contribute to our practice, and values a healthy work-life balance. We believe that caring for our clients is as important as caring for their pets, and appointments are designed to allow for complete examination and client communication. Our team is trained to provide support so that you can focus on your patients. If you are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners, apply today!
We fully embrace the Fear Free and Cat Friendly approach to our patients. We serve a suburban population and find that our strong client communication attracts devoted pet owners who are willing to pursue complex work ups. We do as much as we can in-house including medical work ups, surgeries, and COHATs/extractions, but we have several referral/specialty centers within a short distance of our clinic for more complex cases or those that require hospitalization. We do not have any on-call requirements.
Our small animal clinic has been serving the scenic Capital District of upstate New York since 1963. We proudly have been AAHA-certified for over 60 years. Our clinic has state-of-the-art equipment including Sound DR, GE ultrasound, a complete dental suite, anesthesia monitoring equipment, therapeutic LASER, and the iCare Tonovet Pro.
