If you are a Psycpact or NY-licensed Psychologist, consider yourself excellent at the craft and wish to open a side practice with a high degree of autonomy without the stress of administrative overhead, this posting is for you. We are a group of autonomous therapists who provide high-level trauma-related therapy primarily in virtual space; we call our own schedules and can opt in or out for clients and we support each other. There is no formality of staffings or quotas. We have 24-hour telephone care and designated cyber security, tech, and admin folks to support our clinicians.
We are seeking 2 clinicians who wish for PT to FT status to serve our New York and National clients. Must be self-directed yet honor work-life balance, value the benefits of a boutique practice, be willing to create a polished therapy office stage, and carry a flare or style that adds to the cookie-cutter basic CBT skillset.
Applicant Requirements:
- PT or FT availability (22 hours/week is commensurate with full-time, no quotas)
- PhD or PsyD
- Psypact or NY licensed
- 2+ years clinical experience
- Space for polished home office (open to branding feedback, stipend available for development)
- Ability to work with trauma
- Availability for Insurance and/or EAP credentialing (this is included in onboarding)
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing mental, emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders.
- Counseling individuals, groups, and families.
- Helping people manage stress.
- Providing EST for the conditions you specialize in.
- Formulating ways to approach difficult issues and problems.
- Teaching an understanding of human behavior to others.
About the Practice:
Grotto is a niche trauma-care practice that specializes in providing services for clients who have a complex or advanced need in therapy. We see elite clientele, many corporate clients, and public figures. In addition, we specialize in providing support to other health care professionals and former military. As such, we have a standardized brand that we help our clinicians set up in terms of a polished home office and mastery of technology. We operate as a peer facilitating group. We are looking for someone to join our team who can bring a niche to the team in terms of individual work with folks who have experienced trauma. Couples/family availability is a plus!
Our work environment includes a stipend to set up your home office, clinician brand development meetings, marketing, a dedicated 24-hour call service, billing and admin support, and building a client caseload. We also offer incentives for longevity and a benefits track.
