Job Description:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated speech-language pathologists to join our team at a private K-12 school in Cherokee County. The position will be in person for two days, 10 hours a week. As an SLP, you will work with students across various grade levels, providing assessments, therapy, and consultation services to support their speech and language development. Your role will be crucial in helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students’ speech and language goals.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Georgia SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families.
