Responsibilities
West Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2024. When it does, it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. When the hospital opens, it will feature:
- 150 beds
- A 37-bay emergency department
- Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites
- Endoscopy suites
- Cardiac catheterization labs
- An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders
- An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders
- Inpatient nursing care units

Job Description:
The Anesthesia Technician functions under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist, CRNA, or Registered Nurse and performs delegated functions. Provides safe, effective cleaning of all equipment in compliance with safety and infection control standards. Assumes responsibility to order and prepare supplies and equipment as needed by the Anesthesiologist for surgical procedures, observes Universal Precautions, and is responsible for meeting the Standards of Care. Patient age may be from neonate to geriatric.
Qualifications
Shift: FULL TIME DAYS
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Technical Skills: Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment used in performing job responsibilities.
License/Certification: Certification as Anesthesia Technician by the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists. BLS required.
Other: Able to use PC for billing, QI entry, and inventory management.
