- Direct clinical operations of Children's Outpatient services in the clinic, schools, and other community-based locations
- Hire, train, and supervise program staff, including completing performance reviews
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with local schools and school administration; assist schools to meet requirements for behavioral health services for students, including consultation and training to school staff and placement of therapists at schools
- Maintain relationships with key referral sources including but not limited to law enforcement, Department of Juvenile Justice, and Partnership for Strong Families
- Represent Meridian to the community at relevant meetings and local and statewide conferences and training events
- Assist with monitoring & administering program budget
- Monitor completion of required reports to referrals sources and funders
- Provide clinical supervision and training to staff, including licensure supervision for registered interns as permitted by time and workload
- Provide clinical services to children and families
- Ensure provision of services that are welcoming, co-occurring/complexity capable, and that use stage-matched and motivational interventions
- Review and monitor documentation for timeliness and quality
- Ensure program staff meets productivity and documentation expectations
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Who are we looking for?
Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling or closely related field. Current active license to practice in the State of Florida is required. Experience with direct patient care and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a related field required. Experience in inpatient psychiatric unit/hospital and a working knowledge of the Florida Mental Health Act ("Baker Act") strongly preferred.
Driver Requirement:
Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements.
