Availability Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Meet the Management Plan's sales, unit sales, and profit objectives.
- Manage the planning of physical distribution of company products to meet company and customer requirements, including inventory planning & control and product availability. Markets include US and Canada.
- Manage with Sector the production volumes designated to the US Market, both for Original Equipment and Replacement channel.
- Discuss with the Producers the mix to be produced and shipped to the US Market.
- Manage the stock balancing between the warehouses.
- Meet KPI’s on inventory levels and customer fill rates.
- Manage relationships and information availability with sales, customers, supply-producing countries, and Sector Logistics.
- Supply data about stock, in transit, back order recovery plan, and production for financial forecasts.
- Optimize Rome MIRS production requirement and allocation process with inputs from Sales, Manufacturing, and Sector Logistics.
- Manage the export, MIRS production, overstock, and overage.
Requirements:
- Logistics experience.
- Analytical skills.
- College degree preferred in logistics, business, engineering, or supply-chain management.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- 25%-50% Travel.
