Duties and Responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively with others in a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive, and student-centered environment, with students of various learning styles, cultures, identities, and life-experiences.
Instructional Skills:
- Plan, develop, present, and modify courses from proposal, to syllabus, to delivery (classroom, hybrid, or online), to assessment, to evaluation.
- Teach assigned courses.
- Convey knowledge and skills effectively to students.
- Continue professional development as an educator.
- Use advanced technologies to expand student resources and learning opportunities.
- Assess student learning according to best practices in measurement of student performance objectives and outcomes.
- Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in pedagogical approaches to a diverse population of students and peers.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Unencumbered active license (or eligible for licensure) as a Registered Nurse in the State of RI.
- Current nursing experience within the past 5 years.
- The equivalent of five years' full-time experience in the nursing field with emphasis on medical-surgical.
- Current CPR for healthcare providers AHA certification.
Competencies:
- Long term care experience preferred.
Campus Location: Initially located at the Warwick Campus.
Full-time/Part-time: Part-Time.
Salary Range: Starting contact hour rate: $97.10.
