As a surgical nurse manager, you will supervise daily clinical operations of the facility and manage the clinical and clerical staff by established Federal, State and accreditation regulations and guidelines, as well as established Avon Surgery Center policies and procedures. Oversees patient care activities in preoperative, postoperative and intraoperative. Purchasing of required supplies, controlled drugs, and equipment. Responsible for staff development, orientation, and staff discipline and appraisals.

- Knowledge: Working knowledge and experience in an ambulatory surgery environment, preferably an operating room, including direct patient care. Ability to adhere to work schedule and manage time appropriately. Ability to effectively manage the activities and personnel in the facility. Knowledge of current nursing matters relating to healthcare management including QAPI. Ability to utilize resources in an organized and effective manner.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Current Ohio RN license, BLS required and ACLS preferred.
- BSN and CNOR preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of ambulatory surgery clinical experience as a registered nurse with one (1) year of administrative/management experience.
