Full Time Radiation Therapist - Radiology Oncology
The Radiation Therapist is responsible for providing radiation therapy to patients under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing patients for radiation therapy treatments
- Operating radiation therapy equipment
- Monitoring patients during radiation therapy treatments
- Administering radiation therapy treatments
- Documenting radiation therapy treatments
Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Satisfactorily completed formal therapeutic radiologic technology training at an approved school.
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire
- Work experience less than 1 year
Preferred qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Specialized training in diametric techniques and physics of treatment planning
