Job Title: ARRT - Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Sweetwater, TX Nuclear Medicine Technologist MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic team at a well-established acute-care hospital near Abilene, Texas!

Salary: $68,011 to $98,289 per year

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Responsibilities:

Prepare and Administer Radioactive Drugs: Safely prepare and deliver radioactive substances for diagnostic procedures.
Capture Diagnostic Images: Take images to assist physicians in diagnosing infections or disorders.
Schedule: Day shifts, Monday through Friday.
Minimize Radiation Exposure: Ensure safety protocols are followed to reduce radiation exposure for patients and staff.
Analyze Laboratory Specimens: Conduct laboratory analyses of specimens as needed.
Schedule Appointments: Manage and coordinate patient appointments.
Explain Procedures: Clearly communicate procedures and protocols to patients to ensure understanding.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited Radiology or Nuclear Medicine Program.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
Certification from NMTCB or ARRT.
Texas Medical Board-MRT certification.
CPR/BLS certification.
Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of Nuclear Medicine.
Proficient in starting IVs.
Familiarity with EKGs and stress testing systems.
Ability to perform injections for pharmacologic testing.
