Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our esteemed periodontal practice on a part-time basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our team, with the potential for growth into a full-time role based on performance and practice needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing.
- Conduct periodontal assessments and provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
- Assist in maintaining patient records and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the periodontal team to provide exceptional patient care and enhance treatment outcomes.
Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in TX.
- Experience in a dental hygiene role, with experience in a periodontal setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Proficiency in the use of dental radiography equipment and digital charting systems.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and staying current with best practices in periodontal health.
EDUCATION: RDH
EXPERIENCE: 1-2 yrs preferred
