Well established group of 6 OBGYN physicians in Central CT, minutes from Hartford, is looking to add due to growth. They share equal call and are a well-balanced group with a 50/50 OB-to-GYN ratio. The group does about 550 deliveries annually, a lot of MIGS and Robotics at the hospital, and a good amount of in-office GYN too. The new hire will be mentored and will double scrub with someone from the group for as long as she/he wants. The group does family planning and offers TOPs up to 22 weeks in office. They also do NST and US in their office. Call will be 1/6 and when on call during the day, they are either doing GYN procedures in the hospital or seeing patients in the office. The group admits to a UCONN affiliated hospital with a level III nursery and all services in-house including anesthesia, neonatal, peds, UroGyn, MFM, and GYNOnc. They also have residents in-house and all physicians have an associate professorship at UCONN. The hospital is very physician-friendly and supports its providers. They get a lot of high-risk transfers because they usually have the space to accommodate. This family-oriented group is very supportive, they work well together and are always available for backup or support. They offer a 4-day work week with 1 day off, which can be post-call or fixed. This is a partnership-tracked position with a competitive salary and full benefits. Located 10 miles SW of Hartford, this vibrant city is renowned for its industrious past and rich cultural tapestry.
