With decades of experience, they pride themselves on their commitment to excellence, innovation, and long-term partnerships. They are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent with expertise in multi-family construction to join their team and oversee projects across South Carolina.
Position Overview:
As a Traveling Superintendent, you will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of multi-family construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. You will travel to different project sites across South Carolina, working on new developments. Your hands-on leadership and problem-solving skills will be critical to the successful delivery of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of multi-family construction projects
- Manage site operations, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve any on-site challenges.
- Manage job site logistics, materials, and workforce to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in multi-family construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, ground-up multi-family projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to different job sites across South Carolina as needed.
- Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools.
- OSHA certification and other relevant construction certifications preferred.
