TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for emergency medicine (EM) physicians to join our team working at Ascension Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, New York. Lourdes Hospital is 197 beds, with 28 emergency department (ED) beds and a 6-room fast-track. Work alongside an exceptional leader and mentor to assist your career growth. We have an excellent relationship with ED nursing staff and administration.
Position Profile:
- Enhanced sign-on bonus with full-time commitment
- 36,000 annual ED volume
- 44 hours of EM physician coverage with ability to work blocked shifts
- 12 hours of EM advanced practice clinician coverage per day
- EMR: Cerner
- ABEM/AOBEM board certified/board eligible
- Board eligible must be within 5 years of completing residency; you must have the ability to obtain prior to start date New York license, CSR, ACLS-AHA, PALS-AHA
- High acuity patients
- Designated stroke center
- Excellent specialty backup 24/7
- State-of-the-art equipment fully integrated with diagnostic imaging and the laboratory to expedite patient care typically within 30 minutes

For more than 95 years, Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, New York, has been providing compassionate, personalized care to the Southern Tier. The facility is a designated stroke center with an inpatient stroke unit.
