Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Behavioral Health Spotlight

- Schedule - Shift - Hours: Full Time - Day Shift
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $20,000 sign-on bonus for all eligible experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
Relocation assistance is available to eligible candidates.
This newly created Ambulatory Psych nurse will support the Biddeford, Maine clinic in order to assist providers in meeting with clients every 3 months and will provide nursing care to patients in between appointments.
Position Summary
- Assists with face-to-face and telephonic care and treatment of patients. Responsible for the delivery of care through the process of nursing assessment, planning, and implementation. Promotes a smooth flow of patients through the office and helps to create a calm and supportive atmosphere, demonstrating the Values in Action with each interaction, at all times. Performs tasks as required within their scope of practice, paying attention to detail and accuracy. Conducts all interactions with patients and personnel in a courteous, respectful manner while maintaining confidentiality. The incumbent is required to conduct all job responsibilities consistent with policies, procedures, and in compliance with all applicable laws or mandates relating to patient care and activities.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: BSN preferred.
- License/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing required. Current BLS required.
- Experience: At least two years' experience in related field preferred.
- The use and knowledge of computers, the knowledge of office procedures necessary, and routine laboratory procedures.
