RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; interpreting assessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate that restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach maximum potential.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology. BLS certification through AHA.
