Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - MaineHealth Care At Home Coastal Spotlight

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for LPNs:
- 0-1 years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time)
- 1-3 years of experience eligible for $7,500 (full time)
- 3+ years of experience eligible for $10,000 (full time)
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time LPN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
Position Summary: This position consists of 40 hours per week. The LPN carries out technical nursing skills where a professional degree of evaluative judgment is not required, with guidance from a registered professional nurse. This position reports to the Clinical Director and works clinically with a professional RN Case Manager.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Education: Graduate of a school accredited by the NLN to prepare practical (vocational) nurses.
License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure as a Practical Nurse. Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle, with a vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
Experience: One year of experience in an acute care hospital or skilled nursing facility.
