Position: We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician assistant with expertise to join our dynamic team. As an APP in our Neuro Vascular Program, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to patients with neurosurgical conditions in an outpatient setting. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside world-class physicians and healthcare professionals in a collaborative and stimulating environment.
Qualifications:
NP
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maryland (or eligibility for licensure) along with Maryland CDS (prescription) and DEA (narcotics) licensure required
- Certification: Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in neurology or neurosurgery preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to independently manage complex patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment.
- Current BLS Healthcare provider
PA
- Education: Completion of a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in a Physician Assistant Program; Master’s preferred
- Licensure: Current Maryland Physician Assistant license along with Maryland CDS (prescription) and DEA (narcotics) licensure required
- Experience: 2 years of neurology or neurosurgery work experience preferred; will consider new graduate PA
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to independently manage complex patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment
- Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership Systems (PECOS) enrollment required
- Current BLS Healthcare provider
