About The Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for an experienced Engineer to join our growing TechOps CICD Federal team. As a Federal Engineer, you will be focused on the creation of tools to enhance and support our automated workflows that deploy, manage, and support CrowdStrike’s Production Services. You will be playing a critical role in architecting and implementing solutions to support our team’s production deployments. What You'll Do:
- On-Premise Provisioning and Administration Experience with
- Kubernetes (k8s), ArgoCD, FLuxCD, and Containers
- Jenkins with JCASC
- Artifact repository services such as: JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, or Quay.io
- Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- IaaS Provisioning tools such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet etc.
- Experience with common scripting languages
- Python, REST APIs, Groovy
- Experience with Linux and Windows server administration in Hybrid Environments
- Knowledge of proper monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery of critical services
- Ability to document processes/procedures.
- US Citizen on US soil
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of experience working in a large-scale production environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams
- Must exhibit attention to detail and have the ability to make good, timely decisions and prioritize numerous simultaneous tasks
- Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment.
- Security-mindset, general understanding of cybersecurity principles.
This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements.
