Job Description:
The subject matter expert program acquisition Support (PAS) manager is responsible for Information Management including developing, facilitating, updating, and/or coordinating 3-letter and 4-letter level briefings, tasks, reports, media queries, public releases, and special projects supporting paragraphs.
Specific Duties:
- Information Requests, Inquires, and Tasks: Respond to various tasks including data calls, document reviews, acquisition reporting, travel requests, media requests, and other mandatory reporting directed by Congress, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Air Force, Headquarters Air Force, Headquarters Space Force, Space Systems Command, and local entities.
- Management: Receive, document, generate, distribute, track, and close tasks at the 2-letter and 3-letter levels. Open, read, understand, and properly distribute tasks to the responsible organizations, supplying supporting references and coordinating with DAG personnel to track status and report metrics.
- Research, Analysis and Reporting: Provide substantive analysis of pertinent topics to support situational awareness and understanding of specific issues. Coordinate actions, clarify responsibilities, create schedules, and task completions.
- Communication / Media / Visits: Research, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony on the Directorate organization, missions, operations, and initiatives. Coordinate with the Government to ensure consistency of messages for internal and external audiences.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education & Certification(s): BA/BS Degree Required, MA/MS Preferred, PMP Certification Preferred
Minimum Yrs. Experience and/or Expertise: 10+ Years’ Experience Required, Experience with TMT Preferred
Clearance: Secret
Salary Range: $190,000-240,000
WORK, PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing may be required which requires the ability to move files or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary, with the ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Mental Demands: Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism.
