Position Overview:
The CT Technologist coordinates and produces quality computerized tomography (CT) studies and assists in CT guided procedures. The technologist must demonstrate and exercise critical thinking skills, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy/physiology, radiation safety, venipuncture, and safe medication administration, specific to contrast media and adjunct medications. The technologist is responsible for the safe operation of sophisticated imaging and ancillary equipment to produce quality CT procedures.
The CT Technologist ensures accurate documentation and image transmission and storage, professional and effective communication, and demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate criteria when working with all patients, which include high risk and critically ill patients. Responsible for accurate charge capture and documentation.
Full time Position: 32 hours per week, 4 days per week.
Flexible Shift Requirements: Ability to work varying shifts including day, evening, and night.
Diverse Population: Serving neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Required Certification: Certified in Computed Tomography (CT).

EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Other: Successful graduation from a Joint Commission approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Associate's: Radiologic Sciences
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire
- IV Certification Upon Hire
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire
- RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
- Previous experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Must be knowledgeable in cross sectional anatomy and technical factors.
- Demonstrates proficiency with multiple computerized systems.
- Demonstrates proficiency when working with PACS to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with all Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.

Pay Range: $58.64 to $73.64 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
