Join HDR during Summer 2025 for an internship in our Transportation Business Group focusing on CAD.
Primary Responsibilities
In the role of CAD Intern, we'll count on you to:
- Collaborate on CAD design for transportation projects, producing transportation infrastructure related plans, schematics, diagrams, and 3D models.
- Support in CAD reviews, quantity estimation, cost estimates, and report generation.
- Maintain organized documentation, coordinate with engineers, and stay updated on industry standards and software changes.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
- Preference given to local/regional candidates.
- Knowledge of Bentley Microstation and OpenRoads software.
- A good working knowledge of producing transportation infrastructure related plans, schematics, diagrams, and 3D models.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Attention to detail a must.
- Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
