Contact: Overview Wonderful Opportunity for a Per Diem, Experienced, Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established national group of physicians providing care to neonates at Christus St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana, TX.
Responsibilities - Provide 24-hour, in-house coverage for the Level-III NICU with 8 beds and an intermediate unit with 7 beds, averaging a daily census of 9 infants.
- Care for preemies and term babies needing mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation, and total body cooling.
- Collaborate with neonatologists who see approximately 2,100 deliveries annually in the newborn nursery.
Qualifications - Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a master’s degree
- TX license or active IMLC required
- Certified NNP with recent experience required
