Kentwood Cat Clinic and Cat Clinic North in Grand Rapids are looking for an associate veterinarian to join our Gold certified Feline Friendly two-location practice. We are a full-service practice dedicated to providing quality veterinary care and well-being for cats in two locations. Our facilities are equipped for advanced soft tissue surgical procedures and radioactive iodine treatment for hyperthyroidism. We have surgical and therapeutic lasers, digital X-ray and dental X-ray, and ultrasound. Our experienced and long tenured team, which includes seven LVTs and four doctors, maintains an enjoyable, quiet, and cat-friendly work atmosphere committed to the needs of our doctors, patients, and clients. Our founder is Board Certified in Feline Practice by the American Board of Feline Practitioners and we focus on excellent internal medicine, behavior, and dental care to allow our patients to have long and healthy lives.
An experienced feline veterinarian would be ideal for us, and we encourage all our doctors to focus on areas of feline practice that they are passionate about. However, feline focused new grads are encouraged to apply. This is the perfect opportunity for a new graduate to be successful under the mentorship and guidance of our collaborative team of doctors with a wide range of experience and areas of interest.
The Grand Rapids area is an ideal mix of a fast-paced urban environment for those who prefer to spend time downtown, and the more relaxed suburban feel of the surrounding cities, including Kentwood, where our flagship location is situated. The natural beauty of Lake Michigan is within an hour's drive, and other more rural settings for outdoor activities and relaxation are nearby as well. The area provides plenty of amenities to explore, such as shopping, a great restaurant scene, craft breweries, entertainment, hiking trails, snowmobiling, and lake activities. This community offers something special for everyone.
