Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) - Child Team IOP
Location:Fremont, CA (Hybrid)
Position:28 Hours/Week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Child Team Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The therapist will provide mental health assessments, diagnoses, treatment, and crisis intervention services for children and adolescents. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans, provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups, and coordinate with external resources as needed. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work 2 days a week.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents.
- Provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers for psychotropic medication evaluation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and confidential patient records.
- Participate in departmental program development and evaluations.
- Provide consultation to other care providers and health educators on mental health issues.
- May supervise Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, and other mental health trainees.
- Report safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies.
Qualifications:

Education:Master’s degree in social work

License:California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)ORLicensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

Experience:Experience working with children in a psychiatric setting. Must be eligible to see Medicare patients.
Other Requirements:
- Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis.
- Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and bio-psycho-social functions contributing to mental health.
- Must be eligible to see Medicare patients.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
- Must be available for onsite work 2 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Several years of licensed experience with Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).
- Previous experience with crisis intervention and group psychotherapy.
- Experience with psychological assessments for children and families.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary:$81,667 – $91,204 per year.

Sign-On Bonus:Potential for up to $5,000.
