Position Summary
As an integral member of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging team, you will perform various imaging procedures at University Health Network with an opportunity to be trained in Level three CT at two sites. The department features state-of-the-art digital technology and a team of innovative staff dedicated to patient care and superb image quality, backed by a commitment to continuing education and quality assurance program initiatives. The Technologist will report to the CT/Gen Rad Supervisor and adhere to respective institutional policies and procedures.

Duties
- Performs CT procedures, some General Radiography (when needed), and digital quality assurance.
- Communicates with team members and management personnel, participates in professional development, teaching and educational activities, mentoring, and performing duties related to the job classification, as required.
- Performs cross-functional/site responsibilities as assigned, including the potential to work on call or overtime, and evening, weekend, or night shifts.
Qualifications
Previous Experience
- Completion of a two- to three-year college or other approved program in diagnostic radiography or a bachelor of health sciences in radiography, and a period of supervised practical training are required.
- Completion of clinical component of relevant accredited medical imaging academic program, or equivalent education as assessed by CAMRT and CMRITO.
- Required minimum 4 years experience in Computed Tomography (CT).
Certifications / Registrations
- Certification by the CAMRT.
- Current registration with the CMRITO and fulfilling the annual required continuing education as per CMRITO.
- Completion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification, with maintenance of certification.
- Completion of CTIC Certification or commitment to attain certification.
