Hiring Experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner
Job Duties:
- Provide specialized wound care treatment to patients in a medical office or clinical setting.
- Assess and evaluate wounds to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
- Clean and dress wounds using sterile techniques.
- Monitor and document wound healing progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
- Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs.
- Administer medications and perform procedures such as dermal fillers, spinal taps, and phlebotomies as required.
- Provide care for patients of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and adults.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Experience:
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse or in a related field.
- Proficiency in wound assessment, treatment, and documentation.
- Knowledge of different wound types and appropriate interventions.
- Familiarity with the use of specialized wound care products and equipment.
- Experience working in a medical office, hospital, or assisted living facility preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of clinical research related to wound care is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per visit
