Urgent Animal Care of Arlington is excited to announce the expansion of our Urgent Care team! We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian who is passionate about providing Urgent Care to our loving community of Arlington, VA.
About Our Clinic:
Urgent Animal Care of Arlington, VA is a call-ahead and walk-in, day and evening urgent care facility. We are here to service the cities of Arlington, VA, Alexandria, VA, Washington, DC, Falls Church, VA and more!
We fill the gap between your primary veterinarian and emergency care situations. Our exceptional doctors and veterinary teams have experience in urgent care situations and are ready to provide high-quality care for your pet during their time of need.
Please note, while we do see walk-in appointments, similarly to human urgent care facilities, we do not treat life-threatening conditions.
Examples of the illnesses and injuries we see:
- Abscesses
- Coughing or Sneezing
- Skin Issues – Itching, Rashes, Hotspots
- Minor Cuts and Wounds
- Poison or Toxin Ingestion*
- Foreign Body ingestion*
- Urinary issues*
- Minor Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Digestion issues
- Bite Wounds
- Ear Infections
- Eye Discharge & Squinting
- Fleas or Worms
- Allergic Reactions
- Anal Glands – Scooting or Licking
- Hives or Facial Swelling
- End of Life or Euthanasia
- Paw or Nail Issues
- Fever
* Potentially requires transfer to ER - We don’t treat life-threatening emergencies or provide wellness services.
Our Urgent Care hours will be open Saturdays and Sundays to best serve our community's needs. We are open to Full-Time or Part-Time schedules and are eager to discuss what will work best for you! Ideal Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience
- Virginia Veterinary License – active and in good standing - will assist with state transfer
- Urgent Care interest and/or experience a plus
- Team-oriented mentality that supports our positive culture
